I arrived at the airport and within 30 minutes my driver arrived and brought me to Hospital Angeles Tijuana. He was friendly and kind about my many questions on the drive to Tijuana. When I arrived at the hospital, I was almost immediately went through the required testing. About 2 hours later I was being wheeled to the operating room. Everything went without a hitch. On the day scheduled to leave, my same driver arrived at the hospital on time and brought me back to the airport. Again, he was patient with my questions about Mexico and other patients that he had driven before. The whole experience was very positive and I would definitely go through Health Travel Guides if I ever have surgery again. Prior to surgery, I was first visited by the anesthesiologist, and he made me feel very good about everything. Then Dr. Juan Medrano, who greeted me the first day, visited. I wasn't his patient, but he seemed to care for all the patients.
The staff treated us so very kindly, especially Carlo. I couldn't believe how clean the hospital was. The staff cleans the rooms three times a day. Overall, the one person who I was most impressed with was Doctor Gustavo Gaspar. He knows what he's doing, and he makes you feel like you're in great hands. He wastes no time in answering questions, and telling you what you need to do. I was up and about and walking two days after surgery! I feel like a new person, and it's only been a little over a week. I will be back for the leg lift in July, and I know I'm in good hands.
